Breathable Vacuum Pouches

Our breathable vacuum pouches are ideal for packaging smoked and fresh fish where a minimum of 2,000cc/m2/24hrs of oxygen permeability is required. The high oxygen permeability is also ideal for maintaining the desirable bright red color of such products as red meat and fresh tuna without employing CO treatment. While these breathable vacuum pouches, made of a 2.5mil polypropylene/polyethylene lamination, meet Canadian CFIA standards, they do not meet USDA requirements of 10,000cc/m2 for packing seafood. Please note; when packaging meat, the product must be frozen, as these pouches will not help in extending shelf life on fresh meat.
